MetroActive News Article about the Watergarden
I would not
call this a "large" facility but it is by no means small either.
For a medium-sized facility it doesn't get any better than this.
Sometimes
bathhouses look like a mishmash of styles stuck together with
chewing gum and scotch tape. But Watergarden does not fall into
this category.
The whole
facility has a uniform, upscale style. All of the interiors are
done in pleasant earthtones with great attention to detail.
Beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub, two shower rooms, cruisy
steam room, pleasant staff, separate outdoor smoking patio,
video room, nice large cubicles, free billiards, spotlessly
clean.
Without a
doubt this is one of the finest, most well-run bathhouses [for
its size] I have ever been to. Another great feature is the
"Pool Pass" admission which lets guys in at a reduced price from
7:00am -- 3:00pm [you must exit by 3:00pm to get the reduced
rate]. This really fills the place up for lots of daytime
action.
If you are in San Francisco and
have access to a car by all means take a day-trip to San Jose.
Watergarden is worth the effort. Don't miss it.
